Christmas event at Boughton House

30th November, 2015

Northamptonshire’s Boughton House is gearing up for its annual Christmas event in December.

The Estate, home to the Duke of Buccleuch, will be helping visitors craft their perfect Christmas, offering everything from real Christmas trees to homemade Christmas cakes.

For the first time, residents can trace the heritage of their sustainably harvested Traditional Needlefast Nordmann Fir and pot-grown Needlefresh trees, with each tree wearing its own unique tag.

Locally sourced wreaths and firewood will be on offer, along with Northamptonshire’s finest Harrington Gin and Two Birds Vodka of Market Harborough.

And the Estate’s Gift Shop, quaintly located in an eighteenth century stable block, will also be filled with festive decorations and original gift ideas for the whole family.

Lisa Brack, operations manager at Boughton House, said: “We look forward to welcoming visitors to our Christmas event to enjoy the ambiance of this beautiful Estate in December, while they stock up on festive supplies.

“From families picking out their perfect Christmas tree to those selecting something special to gift to their loved ones, there’s a little something for everyone.”

Christmas at Boughton will run from Saturday 5 December until Sunday 20 December between 10am and 5pm daily.
