Christmas at Boughton House

28th November, 2016

Christmas is coming early to Boughton House, with the Estate ringing in a special festive event from Thursday 1 December.

Visitors to the Northamptonshire home of the Duke of Buccleuch can enjoy a range of local produce and Fairtrade stocking fillers at the Estate’s gift shop, when the gates open in celebration of the Christmas season.

A selection of British-grown Nordmann Fir or Omorika Christmas trees will also be available, alongside handmade holly wreaths and decorations, as festive fever firmly takes hold.

Charles Lister, property manager at Boughton House, said: “Christmas is everyone’s favourite time of year, and it’s such a beautiful time to enjoy the Estate.

“We hope that visitors from near and far will enjoy what’s on offer – from speciality beverages like Warner Edwards gin, Two Birds vodka and Whistling Kite Brewery beers, to speciality decorations to adorn their own winter wonderlands.

“Christmas is indeed coming early to Boughton and we look forward to spreading the Christmas cheer with our visitors in the coming weeks.”

Among the local produce on sale at the event will be Warner Edwards gin, made locally in Harrington; Two Birds vodka and gin from Market Harborough; Kettering’s own Whistling Kite Brewery beers and Saints and Sinners preserves.

Christmas at Boughton takes place daily from 1-18th December from 10am-5pm.
