Last chance to see open air cinema at Boughton

31st August, 2017

Boughton House is gearing up for its final open air cinema experiences of the year in September.

After the success of the Estate’s al fresco summer programme, the celebration of the great outdoors continues with two evening movie screenings in September, rounding off a musical quartet of open air cinematic experiences in 2017.

First up at the Northamptonshire home of the Duke of Buccleuch is a sell-out screening of the live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast on Friday 8 September, followed by feel-good favourite Mamma Mia on Saturday 9 September.

Charles Lister, Property Manager at Boughton House, said: “Boughton’s sprawling grounds provide an idyllic setting for outdoor events and this year our focus has been firmly on the great outdoors.

‘Our cinematic offering has been a hit with movie-goers and we’re looking forward to the next and final instalments in September.

‘Get you last minute tickets now and we encourage you to make yourself comfortable, bring along a picnic and enjoy some of the best-loved musicals under the stars in this spectacular setting.”

Tickets for Mamma Mia are now available at www.lunaflix.co.uk from £13 for adults and £9 for children. Gates open at 6.45pm, with the film commencing at 8.10pm. Movie-goers are encouraged to bring a torch, garden chair, blanket, warm clothing and food and drink. No glass cups are allowed on site.
