Beautiful film locations at Boughton

The Hollywood blockbuster Les Misérables recently found the glorious scenery it needed for its narrative at Boughton House. But you don’t have to be an Oscar-winning movie mogul to shoot here. Whether you’re a photographer, advertiser or filmmaker, you can find great backdrops at Boughton.

There’s the magnificent architecture of the House itself, its sumptuous interiors and art collection as well as an extensive country park.  The 17^th century Dower House, having fallen into disuse over the last decade provides a unique opportunity with its many rooms, attics, staircases and passages but without the worries of damaging precious artefacts in the main House.
