Weddings
Couples can follow in the footsteps of Marius and Cosette from the Oscar-winning film Les Miserables, and tie the knot in Boughton’s Great Hall under Louis Cheron’s 300-year-old ‘Marriage of Hercules and Hebe’ ceiling. And, unlike many other stately homes, Boughton is also licenced to conduct outdoor ceremonies in its stunning colonnade (seating up to 150 guests).

The Bridal Party will have access to the House for photos, which boasts stunning paintings, tapestries and objets d’art, including the work of Gainborough and Van Dyck, which has become a haven for couples seeking a fairy-tale period wedding. In addition, Boughton’s sweeping lawns, private gardens and striking architecture make exquisite photo opportunities.
