Vote for Boughton in the Northamptonshire Heritage Forum Awards

Beautiful Boughton House has been shortlisted for the People’s Choice Award at the 2017 Northamptonshire Heritage Forum Awards held in association with BBC Radio Northampton.

The Estate, home to the Duke of Buccleuch and known as “The English Versailles,” is one of just 10 county treasures singled out in the category.

Nominations open to the public on Friday 2nd June for one month, with those aged 16 and over eligible to cast their vote for their favourite site.  You will hear about each of the wonderful sites on John Griff’s weekend show on Radio Northampton, make sure you tune in!

“As one of the best-preserved stately homes in the country, with stunning 18th century Gardens and the renowned Buccleuch Art Collection in residence, we are extremely proud to be among those shortlisted.

“We would be grateful for as much support as possible in helping us bring the award home to Boughton this July.”

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be revealed at the annual Northamptonshire Heritage Forum Awards ceremony on Thursday, 20 July, at Sulgrave Manor.
